Like all PAR puzzles, your custom hand-cut wooden jigsaw puzzle will be made from top-quality materials, including the PAR signature seahorse piece, and come packaged in a black imageless box with a “par time.” New to the concept of par time? Let us explain. Every PAR puzzle is given a time limit known as a par time, with the goal of challenging puzzlers to prove they are “up to par” by completely assembling the puzzle in the given timeframe. The concept was created by one of the PAR Puzzle founders, John Henriques, who—as a very fast puzzler—would time himself on how long it took him to assemble each newly cut puzzle to determine the par time. Today, our par times are estimated, but you should know that they are still quite difficult!
